The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga celebrated Juneteenth with their club members as part of summer camp programming. The clubs commemorated this historic day with a cookout, Juneteenth-themed educational activities, obstacle courses, and much more!
Corey Greer, known for his leadership in mentorship programs at Brainerd High School and Chatt Prep, took the opportunity to address students at Highland Park, sharing inspiring insights and encouragement.
The celebration not only provided a fun-filled day for the camp participants but also highlighted the importance of understanding and honoring the significance of Juneteenth in American history. Through fun activities, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chattanooga are all about promoting learning, and cultural awareness, and bringing their young members together as a community.
